My entry for this years @2020printexchange . It's an ode to the lavender bush that grows in my parent's garden.The smell of Lavender always makes me think of this photo of my Dad and Finn watching all the bee.
As a way of improving my mokuhanga I've been printing an uncut bit of ply. Playing around with colour and getting my technique down. I've turned the prints in a handful of notebooks in a range of sizes. They've come out well ( if I do say so myself!)

This is Bert isn't he just so handsome and I bloody love him... So turns out he has cancer and as a result of this the vet has removed his cancerous shoulder/ leg ( hes recoving markably well ) So my time in the studio will be reduced as we help
